The second on our list of suggested destinations is one of the favorite history places to check out, The Great Wall of China. There are no adequate words to describe it, simply said, one of a kind. The Great Wall was completed by the Ming dynasty, this historical monument, once a symbol of protection to its people, stretches 13000 miles from east to the west.
It was deliberately created with many twists and turns, uneven steps to slow down the potential invaders, but the fact that over 10 million tourists visit it each year is a testimony that you definitely should check it out.
New York
The city that never sleeps is next, welcome to New York. When mentioning the city of New York, Times Square is the place to be. The only question where do I start and where to stop when the city ultimately gets the hold of you, right? The crowd, restaurants, flashing signs anywhere around you make the atmosphere that can be experienced at only one location – New York.
With so many things to offer it is hard to choose just one place to visit when you are in town, but the Crossroads of the World as Times Square is also known as an excellent place to start. Note that this may be the most visited tourist attraction on the globe according to recent studies.
Machu Picchu
For the next adventure, we had in mind a trip to the Andes Mountains in Peru to visit Machu Picchu. The number one reason to explore the Amazon jungle is to reach this destination and see and feel, the cultural heritage once considered to be out of this world.
Note that it will take you some time before reaching the top, whether hiking or taking a bus or train. We suggest investing the whole day or two even to get the real experience that Machu Picchu can offer. It will all be worth it in the end, the place is simply breathtaking and memorable.
Rome – Colosseum
And the last but not the least important on our list of suggested destinations, Rome – Colosseum. The birthplace of modern civilization, enriched with history, style, elegance, and sophistication. Rome is indeed exceptional in every way. We mentioned visiting Colosseum because of its cultural, history, and overall beauty in experiencing such a place.
Don’t stop there, because when in Rome, you don’t have time to rest. Roman Forum, Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, St.Petar Basilica, Castel Sant Angelo, etc. The list of places to visit is long, we suggest staying a few days to do as much as you can and explore all those sites.
